My first great adventure

Just few days after I arrived to my new home, I was enjoying the sun of a beautiful day of March, while I was thinking how much good that felt, saw a small gap under the door for a while, trying to figure out if there would be enough room for Bubu’s anatomy and I tried it finally, I just slide through the hole and when I realized I was out of the house, with nobody around to notice it.

I was there trying to figure out what to do there, when someone came by and I walked behind few steps, he was my neighbor… took me to his home and let me in.  I found there a cute Chihuahua doggy, smaller than me, it was coffee color with a white spot around his nose, his name was Pancho, who kept looking at me and grinning.

I approached him to ask him how to get back home, because once in the room, I didn't know how to get out. I was sure Pancho was going to call to my mom and tell her I was ok, playing a little bit and she could wait for me before dinner ... but nobody took the phone to say all that.

Meanwhile, mom began to search for me, quietly asked for me to everybody, she searched every possible place inside the house, with no luck, so the next place was the street. She couldn’t believe I was not around; she took off her eyes of me just few minutes ... it was then that she began to mourn, thinking the worst.

My grand mom suggested her that quickly made an ad with big letters: WANTED white Maltese dog with a black ear, deaf, not suitable to be with children, requires constant medical attention ...  below, mom wrote my particular address and phone number.

Mom and uncle ran from one place to another asking for me and posting all ads in public places...  two hours later, Pancho's father took the phone and communicated with mom, saying where I was and I saw him saying: your doggy is fine.

I was enjoying so much playing with Pancho and eating funny kibbles, but when the door opened and I saw my mom, my whole body was moving to the rhythm of my tail!, Mom had found me!, She was very smart writing I was not very comfortable with children around, because I am so small that they think I'm a toy ... moreover ... it still required some vaccines. We do not know what Pancho's parents thought when they saw my mom crying; maybe their idea was that it was a huge responsibility to have a bubu at home, and my mom needed me more...

Pancho and I said goodbye and I promised to get back to his house and play with him, but it never happened. We saw eachother one or two times walking down the street, he walked without a leash and I was always next to Mom, attached so I can not have more adventure by myself.

But even after that, I ran several times downhill from the street. I learned that Mom would always ran behind me while she screamed frantically, and I liked to wait for her   around the corner, I used to think that I found her!. But the fun lasted until she realized the trick and pretended to ignore me, until I turned around and I realized I was alone and exposed to get back to Pancho's house. .
I have not gone out without my leash anymore ... after all ... who wants to go to Pancho's house?, his mom doesn't cook chicken with rice for him ... and he doesn't know carrots!...
