Tulips

I very much regret the silence that I have created, but in the last few weeks I've been enjoying the spring. I waited for it with so much emotion for a long time, now I  love to lie on the grass during hours to smell life.

When we began to walk it was like a birthday gift, after so many days of closure, is a pleasure to go out running, barking and smelling again the messages from our old friends. It is gratifying that the harsh winter did not hurt anyone and all of us are still struggling to continue enjoying our experiences.

Every day is a new opportunity to follow beside my parents and Champy. They measure my glucose levels after each meal,  give me insulin and in addition they give me fluids, which have made a really good work mantaining my kidney. So far I have not had to go to the doctor, who basically said there is nothing to do by me.

All this adds a good dose of carrots, crackers, moments of joy in the garden, while mom  takes care of our flowers, afternoon walks and many belly massages which solve any discomfort that I can have during the day.

After the first flowers loomed shy, spring painted colorful gardens with tulips. At home the tulips tinged red and contrasted with the green of the grass. Dad bought them in the autumn and we planted them. The bag said they were huge, but we did not believed it.

So we had a big surprise when they painted in  red front yards and yellow and orange in back gardens. Neighbors were happy to admire our tulips and congratulate ourselves for all the work we put in to make them grow.

There were also photographic trips to mom and Champy, who embarked on when light is how she likes to. Sometimes I accompany them on trips of recognition to choose the perfect places that show the world the beauty of our bit of space, because we want to get the taste of living.

Thanks to all those who regularly ask about my health. I'm fine, enduring all the syringes and putting a good smile to everything, my greatest gift is going out to take care of the flowers and sit down  on the grass... that motivates me to finish all my food every day!!!
