Christmas Recipe

In Mexico, Christmas smells like fruit and tastes like tamales and punch. Here at the United States, the smells change, because Christmas smells like cinnamon and tastes like turkey or ham. I am fortunate to know the best of both countries, so this is Bubu recipe for Christmas.

All ingredients should be collected with time and not be replaced; any error in the recipe can result in damage to health.

Ingredients:

Grannies' smiles, those that they give us when we do something extraordinary like eating everything of the dish or when we go to them when they call us. You can collect all smiles whenever we have the opportunity to see grannies. If they are not around anymore, then you can use photos taken on birthdays or weddings, grannies use their best smiles on those occasions and are sweeter.

Granddads’ hugs, the kind that you get when you say goodbye to them. Like the smiles, you can take memories of childhood or the last visit you have you enjoy with them.

One or two pinches of complicity of a brother or sister and if there is not one around, then you can have a good friend. They are not to blame for being born into another family.

Christmas smells, you decide how much, depending of the culture, it can be fruit, flowers or turkey.

Some memories of childhood games. My favorite memory is when mom went to buy cookies in Mexico, but I also like the memory of when I met my dad ... any memory is good if it makes us smile.

Kisses from mom or dad, sometimes there is only one that is valuable, or in my case, I have thousands. The recipe just says they must be added but does not specify how many. Just look for the one you like.

We must add some Christmas songs and traditions, as much as you want and as you prefer, depending of your culture.

Preparation:

Put in a transparent bowl grannies hugs and kisses from parents and mix slightly, gradually add hugs from granddaddies  and complicity, take good care of the ingredients are mixed, not only shake, but be careful they do not stick.

In addition, mix the memories of childhood and add to the smells of Christmas, making sure that everything is soaked.

Add Christmas songs and traditions in the mixing bowl and garnish with smells and childhood memories.

Served very hot with new smiles and family moments at the home you choose, no matter if you're visiting, you only need the warmth of a home. And if you're alone, no matter, it works if you add a personal smile good times that have lived those that are for come.

No artificial flavors or colors must be added.

Merry Christmas!
